The historic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium has been one of Washington D.C.'s most iconic venues since its opening in 1935. Throughout its storied history, the Mellon has hosted a variety of events from presidential inaugural balls to fashion shows, film sets for movies and television shows, corporate galas, brand activations, and unforgettable weddings.
Now exclusively managed by Ridgewells Catering, the Mellon Auditorium offers a breathtaking backdrop and exceptional hospitality for all events.

As an architectural anomaly, this spacious room offers endless possibilities for events ranging from intimate gatherings to spectacular receptions for up to 1000 guests.
Main Auditorium

This trio of rooms feature warm chandeliers, real gold detailing, and parquet flooring. The Green Rooms are all connected together with direct access to the Main Auditorium, allowing guests and staff to move effortlessly between all spaces.

Featuring checkered marble flooring and plenty of natural light, the Foyers shine as a gathering area or transitional space between events on both sides of the third floor.
Third Floor Foyers

With newly restored, plush seating, the Balcony is ideal for photographers, videographers, surpsie guests, and musicians.

Stepping outside from the Third Floor Foyers, the Portico overlooks Constitution Avenue and provides one of the best hidden views in DC. The perfect location for photos, cocktail hours, and intimate receptions.
