An iconic venue makes its grand re-opening, just in time for your Inauguration soiree.
Inauguration in the capital is a celebration like no other, but there's just something extra special about hosting your inaugural bash in an iconic historic building. Home to the signing of the North Atlantic Treaty in 1949, establishing NATO, Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium has hosted countless galas, corporate events, weddings, and yes - inauguration parties! - throughout the decades.
“I think anyone who has ever attended an event at Mellon Auditorium knows how special this venue is,” says Susan Lacz, Principal & CEO of Ridgewells Catering. Ridgewells was awarded the exclusive management of Mellon Auditorium in the fall of 2023, and as the lease holder, is responsible for booking the space for events. “With the venue having been closed for a couple years for renovations, which are absolutely gorgeous and now newly reopened, we’re fortunate to still have a few spots available around Inauguration, as well as during the fall and holiday season lead-up, for bookings.”
